Overview

Many of the world's biggest Legal firms, alongside the big 4 Accounting firms are structured as partnerships. We regularly see news about the level of partners' pay, which can be in the millions, yet struggle to interpret who received these profit shares, the structure of them and the timing. It is also important to appreciate that not every partner receives these headline grabbing figures or to be able to identify the signs that someone is on the way to being made a partner.

A further area of oversight is healthcare partners i.e. those who own their own private practice / surgery. This is a growing area of wealth and one that traditionally has not been explored.

This session aims to give you an insight into the legal structure of partnership, identifying partners, the structure of their pay and what happens if they leave.
